After graduating from Oakton High School, Jeanette obtained her Economics degree from the University of Virginia. While at the University of Virginia, she volunteered at the Kluge Children’s Rehabilitation Center, helping children with autism through Recreational Therapy. This confirmed Jeanette’s desire to help those with disabilities and she went on to earn a Master of Physical Therapy degree from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
She returned to Northern Virginia to launch her career in Physical Therapy and now resides in Fairfax County with her husband Charlie, also a FCPS graduate, and their three children. Jeanette currently balances her schedule working part time at INOVA Fairfax Hospital and caring for her children who attend their local elementary school. She is an active volunteer in her children’s school and a member of Alexandria Presbyterian Church.
In her spare time, Jeanette enjoys hiking with her family and their new puppy, playing tennis and reading.
